LTC Community of Practice Meeting | June 2

The upcoming Long-Term Care (LTC) Community of Practice (CoP) meeting will bring together clinicians to explore practical approaches to strengthening long-term care delivery and supporting sustainable practice.


The session will begin with a focused presentation on long-term care home software systems, including PointClickCare (PCC) and Rhythm, a new local solution designed to reduce reliance on fax-based communication. Participants will also hear from a guest emergency department physician as part of a discussion on acute care transfers and system coordination.


Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with peers, share insights, and explore practical strategies to improve efficiency and support work–life balance in long-term care settings.


Event Details

  • When: Tuesday, June 2 | 6:00–8:00 PM

  • Where: Soma Cidery, 4485 Sallows Rd, Kelowna, BC V1W 4C2

  • Compensation: 2-hour sessional payment

  • Food & Beverage: Dinner and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided
