  • 1 min read

Interior Health Laboratory Program is extending community outpatient service hours at Kelowna General Hospital – Dr. Walter Anderson Building, effective May 1, 2026.

These extended hours are intended to improve patient access to laboratory services and reduce overall wait times for blood work collection.

New Lab Service Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (walk-in service only; no scheduled appointments)

This change provides an additional 26 hours per week of outpatient lab availability for patient blood work collection.
