Help Shape the Future of Chronic Pain Care in the Central Okanagan

The Division is seeking a family physician to join the Steering Committee for a new Shared Care quality improvement (QI) project aimed at improving access to chronic pain care through enhanced navigation, interdisciplinary collaboration, culturally safe care, and function-focused, evidence-based approaches.


We're looking for a family physician who:

  • Enjoys systems-level thinking and collaboration

  • Is passionate about quality improvement and care pathway redesign

  • Does not have a specialization in the topic, yet has patients with chronic pain


Commitment

  • Monthly Steering Committee meetings from September 2026 to September 2027

  • A mix of virtual and in-person meetings

  • All meeting time is compensated sessionally
