FPSC Core Committee Update | Dr. Tobias Gelber

Dr. Tobias Gelber has joined the Family Practice Services Committee (FPSC) core committee as the Doctors of BC liaison to the Interior Region, representing the region in discussions that support and strengthen family practice across British Columbia.


In this role, he contributes to provincial-level work focused on improving the sustainability of primary care and advancing system-level solutions that impact family physicians and their patients.


About Dr. Tobias Gelber

Dr. Gelber is a family physician providing comprehensive primary care, including longitudinal family practice, rural emergency medicine, maternity care, long-term care, street medicine, medical assistance in dying, and teaching of residents and medical students.


He has over 20 years of experience in primary care, having practiced in Alberta before returning to British Columbia in 2022. He is passionate about primary care reform and strengthening system-level improvements in family medicine.
