Accessible Counselling for Young Adults

Aug 28
1 min read

Third Space Charity is a community-based organization offering accessible counselling and support to young adults aged 18–29 across the Central Okanagan.

Counselling That Reduces Barriers

Third Space offers pay-what-you-can counselling, helping reduce financial barriers to accessing mental health support. Counselling is available in person or online, providing flexibility based on individual needs.

The organization provides an inclusive and welcoming environment where young adults can explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Services are available to individuals from all backgrounds and contexts.

Supporting Clients and Emerging Counsellors

Third Space Charity operates on a dual-impact model. Young adults receive counselling support while emerging counsellors gain supervised, real-world experience as they develop their professional skills.

By combining accessible counselling with professional training, Third Space is helping improve access to mental health support while contributing to the development of the future mental health workforce in the community.
