2 min read

The Central Okanagan Division of Family Practice Annual General Meeting (AGM) is coming up on September 15. The AGM is an opportunity to reflect on the Division’s past year, review the financial statements, and participate in the governance of your Division.

Following the AGM, the evening will continue with the Member Event, featuring the Innovation Exchange. Representatives from the KGH Foundation, the KGH Medical Staff Association (MSA), Shared Care & Specialist Services Committee, and the Jim Pattison Centre for Health Systems Learning + Innovation will share how they are working with family physicians to support primary care, advance innovation, and strengthen our local healthcare system.

Innovation Exchange: Partner Showcase

The Innovation Exchange will offer a closer look at how local organizations are working with family physicians to advance innovation, improve care and strengthen primary care. Hear directly from our partners, then take part in a tabletop discussion to bring forward ideas, ask questions and explore opportunities to connect their work with your own practice.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the role of Innovation Exchange partners in advancing quality improvement and innovation through cross-sector collaboration.

  • Know how to bring emerging ideas and opportunities forward for quality improvement, resource alignment, and collaborative problem-solving within the local healthcare system.

  • Be aware of strategies for engaging healthcare professionals, community partners, and other organizations in initiatives that improve care delivery, physician support, and long-term workforce sustainability.
