Summary:
Mountain View Medical is located in the desirable Lower Mission neighborhood of Kelowna, close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, and the mountains. The clinic offers an opportunity for 1–3 physicians to join the practice, depending on the number of hours or half-days each physician prefers to work.
The clinic features established patient panels and long-term, stable staff, including experienced MOAs and an LPN. It is well-supported by a Primary Care Network (PCN) nurse. Physicians can choose to work full-time or part-time, with flexibility to include or exclude services such as obstetrics, long-term care, palliative care, etc. The clinic uses Telus Med Access EMR with well-maintained charts. Overhead is covered by a fixed split, based on the number of half-days a physician works in the clinic.
Mountain View Medical is a physician-owned, well-established practice. Current partners work part-time (2–3 days per week), and there is room for additional physicians to join.
The clinic is centrally located near Kelowna General Hospital and other amenities, with onsite parking available. It includes five exam rooms, typically shared between two physicians working at a time. Patient visits are a mix of in-person and telehealth. The clinic does not offer walk-in services, but there is flexibility to include maternity care, long-term care, palliative care, and other services if desired.
As a family physician at Mountain View Medical, you’ll have the opportunity to shape a practice that suits your individual style and preferences.
