Dr. Davidson and Thomson are actively seeking a new associate to take over permanently at the Kingsfoil Medical Clinic (KMC).

Kingsfoil Medical Clinic currently provides comprehensive, office based, longitudinal family practice care to the people of Kelowna and surrounds. Dr. Davidson also provides care to opioid dependent individuals. We do not do obstetrics and we have associate hospital privileges which means our patients are taken care of by our hospitalist program when admitted to hospital. This is a well-established, well known and respected family practice with a robust patient base. We are available for after-hours call via telephone between 1-2 weeks per year as we are part of a large call group.

Our medical clinic is looking for a new practice share associate to join their well-established two doctor Family Medical Practice. The clinic operates out of a heritage home in downtown Kelowna and provides longitudinal care to patients. There is no after hours work apart from providing care to patients in long-term care facilities, Hospice House and patient calls through an on-call group of MDs. This clinic is not a walk-in clinic.

This position is essentially a practice share with one of the doctors who would like to ease out of full time Family Practice gradually.

The ideal candidate would prefer to work 50% of the time at our clinic and have the remaining time off or choose to work in the many other diverse medical opportunities available in Kelowna. An interest in addiction medicine, especially managing a group of opioid dependent patients, would be preferable but not essential. Training and mentorship in this field is also available.
