Opportunity:

Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team providing full-spectrum maternity care in beautiful Kelowna. COMC is seeking Family Physicians with obstetrical expertise to deliver prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including culturally safe services for Indigenous clients. Opportunities include half- or full-day clinic-based work and/or 12–24-hour on-call shifts for labour and delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver comprehensive maternity care up to 8 weeks postpartum

• Participate in 24/7 intrapartum care at Kelowna General Hospital (KGH)

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, midwives, social workers and administrative support team members in community clinic and acute care

• Contribute to a shared on-call rotation with other maternity providers

• Work closely with KGH’s Level 4 NICU and 24/7 Obstetrics and Pediatrics support

• CCFP Certification

Outpatient Clinic :

The COMC outpatient clinic is open Monday to Friday (except statutory holidays) from 08:30-16:30hrs. Flexible shift options from part to full time available.

On-Call:

Provides a minimum of 10 hours of on-site coverage per 24 hour on-call period for patients presenting to Labor and Delivery. On call shifts are 12 or 24 hours in length.
