Summary:
Join the Westbank First Nation Health and Wellness Team, where we are dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally competent care to Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members. Our team includes a Primary Care Network (PCN) Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Nurse (RN), supported by a variety of allied health professionals such as social workers, dieticians, community pharmacists, Indigenous care coordinators, and more. Together, we work collaboratively to offer holistic services including prenatal care, childhood immunizations, chronic disease management, and opioid agonist therapy (OAT), as well as mental health and wellness support through addictions counselors and trauma therapists.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to understanding and addressing the unique health needs of Indigenous populations. By integrating social determinants of health, we strive to achieve the optimal health and wellness of our community members. If you are passionate about improving health outcomes and working in a team that is deeply committed to serving Indigenous communities, we invite you to join us. With the opportunity to grow in a supportive environment, you may find that this is a role you will want to make your permanent home.
