- Changes Coming to LTCI: LFP Extension to Include Inpatient and Long-Term Care
Starting July 1st, 2024, changes are coming to the Long-Term Care Initiative (LTCI), including the extension of the Longitudinal FP Payment Model to cover long-term care and the introduction of a $290 per LTC resident per year option for non-eligible practitioners. Specific updates for the Central Okanagan LTC Initiative will also be implemented, such as the replacement of incentives and acceptance fee claims, introduction of a paid LTC after-hours call group, continuation of funding for quality improvement projects and CME, and opportunities for feedback through surveys.
